We publish a catalogue every year where you will find a wide selection of good, reliable and well tried favourites, plus a lot of new introductions. We are confident you will find something new and special listed.

Mail Order - We will be delighted to send plants within the UK and E.U. Postage within the UK is £8.50, E.U. countries at cost. Please make cheques payable to Lamberton Nursery. It is very helpful if you leave the cheque blank and write across the top 'Not to exceed £X' 'X' being the maximum possible amount. We accept Visa and Mastercard. E.U. currency notes are acceptable. Please indicate if you wish substitutes in the event of a plant being sold out. Orders will be collected for dispatch in the order we receive them.

We have doubled the size of our new peat garden, by Peter Korn from Sweden, it has to be seen to be believed !  Come next spring and see the primulas, Meconopsis and Shortia which have been planted. (Bus parties welcome by appointment)

The crevice rock gardens built in the Czech style, thanks to the help of Zdenek Zvolanek and Joyce Carruthers in January 2000 and Josef Halda and Jarmila Haldova the following June are now maturing and you can see many of the plants we sell growing there. We have also developed new borders near the aviaries with many Digitalis, Cyclamen and other woodland plants and a new sunny border has been planted with lots of Euphorbia, Eryngium, Geranium and bulbs on the south side of the beech hedge. The site where the barn once stood has been developed and contains many sales plants and the new raised bed is completed and planted. This last winter we rejuvenated much of the rock garden and created even more display borders. Why not call in and see the range of plants grown and our new developments.

We are open 3 days a week; Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 10am-5pm from 1st April until 30th September.  We will be happy to open for individuals at other times by appointment. The nursery is only one hour from Edinburgh and only a little more from Newcastle upon Tyne. The nursery is in the very south east corner of Scotland, close to the A1. If travelling south on the A1 take the second exit for Lamberton which is on the dual carriageway, cross the road bridge and the nursery is up the narrow road almost dead ahead. If travelling north follow the signs for Lamberton immediately after entering Scotland.

We would like to thank all the people who have supported us this past year, either working in the nursery, donating plants and seeds, advice and of course buying our plants.
